What sums up Cervinia in one simple icon? It has to be the Matterhorn.
The Matterhorn, one of the highest peaks in the Alps, is 14,690 ft tall and lies on the Swiss-Italian border. Although the Matterhorn is the name this peak is best known as, the Italians call it Mount Cervino – and this is where the resort of Cervinia gets its name from. The Matterhorn is a striking feature among the Cervinia mountain skyline, and there are runs that let you cruise straight past it. It’s wonderful to see it rising up above the other mountain peaks.
I designed this icon to represent Cervinia, from the feature that I believe represents it best.
