What sums up Paris in one simple icon? Without a doubt it’s the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel Tower, a metal structure in the heart of Paris, is 324 metres tall and is the most visited attraction in Paris. It was built 126 years ago as a temporary structure, but has lasted the test of time. At the time, it was the tallest structure in the world, up until the Chrysler building was built in New York in 1930. It’s 1665 steps to the top – lucky there’s a lift! It holds a special place in my heart.
I designed this icon to represent Paris, as it’s the feature that I believe represents it best.
